Money, Looks Or Character?

All things equal, would you rather consider money, looks or character in choosing your partner for life? Please explain your point of view.

Hi Mel..
Great mind and great heart with pleasant looking are always a turn on for me. However,a woman should be looking into how a man manages money and not HOW MUCH money he has!

Surely during the courtship little by little I will pick up his behaviour in the future,if he does has similar financial goals, who understands the basics, and who isn’t a complete spendthrift.

Surely with all the basic needs of love, chemistry, understanding and good communication would just be perfect for me coz with good communication only we can work together to improve our status or financial situation for the future.

All I'm saying here is I would go for a guy with good brain and heart, followed by the look and personality.Good looks and the smooth talk, after all those come a dime a dozen! Not that I'm saying I don't care of the look..hehhehe.

Hi Mel, about money, I don't care, you know, I have enough money, so about marrying a woman 'cause her money, no. But my maybe my Mother would force me to marry me with a rich woman, you know, my Mother says me and my Brother must marry with rich women. It's just a money and social class (status, social status). But no problem about the money.

About how she looks like, it would be important, many girls take care of how they look like. From the 3 things, I'd put number 2 to the look (3 to the money).

Finally, I think I'd put number 1 to the character, it's important to know about her feelings, if she really loves me, on how good she makes me feel. and, if I feel good with her, I'd be happy, I'd feel loved.

So I choose Character.

Big greetings and big hugs

Hi Mel, you know, since I'm not as handsome as Arthur, as good-looking as Arthur, as rich as Arthur, I don't care about money or look.

So I also choose the character, it's important for everyone to feel loved, to feel good, to be in real love with someone.

So I'd prefer character rather than look or money.

Greetings and hugs

Nice Day, with my whole soul:
Gusthav

Hi Noushy,
You seem to pick a combination of all. He, he, he, *lol* You want somebody with brains and has good character and knows how to manage his finances. Although you said that looks is not that important. You must be one hell of a girl to be able to choose all. He, he, he, Okay, we must give a girl what she wants. So I will give you somebody with the brains of Einstein and the character of Gandhi and the looks of Pierce Brosnan and of course, the wealth of Billy Gates. How's that for the most beautiful girl of World United Bloggers. He, he, he, *lol* You're really a pampered girl here. So you have your way and we'll just throw away our points of view. Thanks for your visit and your "I want everything" point of view my dear friend. God bless you and your loved ones always. Have a great and fantastic day in (still foggy?) London.

Hi Arthur,
I thought at first you will choose all just like Noushy, he, he, he, *lol* At least at the end, you chose character. That's a valid point of view because character is lasting. Money can be lost and beauty can be dissipated by years but charcater stays on until death. Wise choice my young friend. Thanks for your usual visit and your interesting point of view. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Husthav,
Oh Gusthav, I almost feel sorry for you. You always come out second fiddle to Arthur and you seem not to mind that at all. I admire your humility and good character my young friend. God will bles you more for that. At last, both you and Arthur agree on the same point of view. You know character is really important because it's what you will share with the woman of your love for the rest of your life. A woman with good character has the tendency to be even more pleasant and kinder as the years go by. Nice choice my young friend. Thanks for your honest point of view. God bless you and your family always.

hahhahha..MEL, I'm not going to lie.I love a guy that educated 'with brain' that I can discuss anything with- from house chores to politics of the world whom also has a very soft and kind heart...well, a combination of all surely is perfect for me!

But I'm not going after his money, not waiting for a wealthy like Bill Gates..NOO you got me wrong there, all I'm saying a guy that know HOW to manage his money NOT a guy with money.Imagine if the guy is a big spender or no idea on how to keep track on financial status.A healthy attitude towards personal finance is what I want in my man.

If it happens to be a guy with money, well I take it as a bonus..lol!

p/s Mel..I'm ain't a materialistic gal..:p

Hi Noushy,
I know you are not a materialistic girl. Far from it. I was just teasing you. He, he, he, *lol* I'm so glad that you found somebody who can be near perfect. You deserve him becasue you have a heart of gold that is sensitive to the emotional and spiritual needs of others. You are quite young, yet your views in life are those with wisdom and wit culled from your sensitive heart. Thanks again for your visit. God bless you always my wonderful friend. You sure you do not want somebody with the wealth of Bill Gates? He, he, he, *lol*

I would definitely pick someone with character. That is permanent. Looks and money may buy me luxuries but not necessary principles.

Hi Solitaire,
You're one of my most admired bloggers around. Your post are written with erudition. I will be very privileged to exchange correspondences with you. My only problem was my edit page was out of order and I cannot edit my blogroll in Random Thoughts and your name happened to be at the bottom portion with Anjuli and Cinderella. You see I do my regular visits via the order of my blogroll and I religiously read the posts so that I can make more meaningful comments. The problem is my eyes get strained and sometimes I have to stop my blog visits. But I do love you blogs and all your posts. I will be adding you to this blog's blogroll and will put you in the upper portion so that I can visit you whenever I go blog hopping uising this blog. Thank you so much and I do admire your writings a lot. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Just read your post about change - so this is corollary to that - money and looks both are beyond ones control they can and do change without any warning....

character is something which I would go for - but dont you think even that has a possibility to change with circumstances.....

personally I would go with my heart - if I feel that special closeness with someone....then everything else will fall into place

Hi Ceedy,
Thank you so much for your intelligent points of view. Your position is well taken. Character is more or less fixed already in one's life except in cases of extreme traumatic experiences which can alter the character of the person. But if the character is that strong, the recently developed character will fall off and the real character will shine once again. Thanks again. God bless you and your loved ones always.
