Hi Dhemz,
Yes, I think all Filipinos learn that early in life. We were taught to respect and obey our elders. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

I have learned from my mother that if we want to get something, we need to work for it.

My father used to say this to us na, siguraduhin nyo lang na mayaman mapapangasawa nyo kasi ang tatamad ninyo, tagal pa gumising hehhehehe. respect to elders is what our parents taught us. Malayo kasi relasyon namin sa mga parents namin kaya walang madamdaming mga salita naririnig namin. we learned valuable lesson on our own based on experience parang ganun. yung respect to elders nga hindi masyado nadedevelp sa amin kasi parang walang matandang kapatid sa amin, iba rin mag disiplina parents namin kaya malayo loob namin sa kanila. kaya nung nag college kami nagkanya kanya ng batsi sa bahay makalayo lng sa nag ng ina at ama hehehe

Hi Mel,

My mother used to tell me to study hard because education is the only thing that can carry me through life..

And of course, she would always say parents know best :-)

Thanks Mel.

Hi Lotus Flower,
Yes, all parents want the best education for their kids. That's probably the very first lesson a child will learn from his parents. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

My father and mother thought us many things. One that I always remember is yung huwag kang manakit nang kapwa mo tao, respet your elders..at iba pa.
