Yes I do believe in karma. That's in reap. "It is mine to avenge, I will repay" says the Lord. Everyone who caused me pain and I forgave and let go, have some experienced misfortune and misery in their lives after they deliberately hurt me. After letting the Lord take care of my pain and those agony I felt when they hurt me, I just saw their world crashing into pieces.

Hi Bingkee,
Actually karma in the East is different from karma as you cite from the Bible. Karma in the Bible is the law of sowing and reaping,i.e, you shall reap what you have sown while karma in the Eastern religion is the accumulated and unspent life force in a person that is either good or bad. Karma in the Eastern religions is closely associated with reincarnation and evolution.
Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

I didn't know the true meaning of karma, because I always thought it meant the same as "you reap what you sow." Thank you for clarifying that. I don't believe in any "unspent" life force, so I guess in light of this definition, I would have to say I do not agree or believe in karma.

Something may seem like bad karma, when the truth is that we may not have learned the lessons we needed to learn and continued to make bad choices. That's been my experience. It's not God's fault, it's mine!

On the other hand, I believe that God blesses those who bless others, rewards our good deeds and honors our offerings.

Hi Sandra,
How right you are. Sometimes we commit the same mistakes over and over again and when we reap the consequences of those mistakes we blame everybody else including God but not ourselves. Thanks for your visit and honest point of view. God bless.
