I would say without blinking an eye it was my mother.Back then,I didn't know it.But now when I look back,I see a lot of herself in me.And I am happy about it,even though she is no more.My Dad told me on the day of her funeral,"She is always there with you, just follow the guidelines she taught you".

And I try my best to do the same.

Well, I cannot say that I was papa's copycat. My dad was so mentally strong and had such strong personality that as I was growing up, I became like him. Now, I am a replica of his personality and character.

Even after 16 years of his death, I miss him because only he was my true friend and critic.

Hi Sameera,
Oh, I'm sorry that your mother has already passed away. I felt a tinge of sadness and pain when I read your comments. I know you miss her so much. It is really commonplace for girls to be molded in the character of their mothers and boys, with their fathers. Thanks for your visit and valuable point of view. God bless you always my dear friend.

Hi Sangeeta,
Yes, we all miss our beloved parents. Your father must have had a very strong and charismatic character for you to be positively influenced by him. Thanks for your visit and meaningful point of view. God bless you always.

My mother. For all of the good reasons and the bad.

I think that the role of mother is nurturer. That is why we mold character. BUT, the Father, as the provider, instills confidence and security. Kids are blessed when they have both in the picture.

Great question. Makes me wonder what MY children will say one day.

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for your valuable point of view. Yes, women usually are molded more by their mother. I know your kids will have a very wonderful and positive point of view about you. Thanks for your visit. God bless you and your family always.
