In Defense of One's Chastity

Are you willing to kill someone ( a deranged rapist) to defend your honor (chastity) if you are a woman, or to depend the honor of your wife or girl friend if you are a man? You are all in a deserted place and no one else can help you. Please explain your answer.

You always have a good point of discussion to ask, Mel.

Anyway, it is hard to say that I am willing to do it but when it is there, I do not have the guts to do it or may not be prepared enough.

I think all of us are willing to die for our love ones.

Although it is bad to kill others as stated in the bible, the bible also says "a tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye" whatever that means.

For the supposed rapist, I believe that more women cannot fight back. I don't know, but if I were a woman I think I am going to kill anyone to defend my honor.

This is quite a point to ponder. I feel Guardian Angel summed it up nicely.

As a woman I guess you really do not know what you would do until you are in the situation but I think when it comes down to it I probably would to defend my honor. Tough call though.

i can hardly imagine myself killing anyone but then we can never predict our actions in situations like that

Hi Guardian Angel,
That is an enlightened point of view. Yes, we will never know what our reactions would be if we are placed in situations like that. Suffice it to say, that we love our wife and daughters so dearly that we would not want any harm to befall them. Thanks for your point of view. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Tammy,
I know all women will never want their honor besmirched by a deranged maniac and will defend it to the last point of their lives. Thanks for your visit and comments my friend. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Lena,
Killing is not the issue but defense of one's honor and dignity. Many of my countrywomen (Filipinas) who work in the Middle East have proven that point. They were made to chose between losing their honor and defending themselves. Almost in all cases where they had the chance to defend themselves, they did so. Thanks for sharing with us your honest point of view. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Murder might be too radical a thing to do,but I would surely defend myself in the best way I can.*Shudders to even think of it*

Hi Sameera,
Defense of one's honor can never be considered as murder. Anyway, we all hope that no one will ever face such dire event in their lives. Regarding the feed, I really had some problem with it ever since I change the template of my blog. Thanks for calling my attention to it. God bless you always my dear friend.
