I feel crimes like murder and rape are totally unforgivable. Both cannot be undone,no matter how much the culprit repents.

The Bible speaks of an Unpardonable sin so I think that there is one. Is it blaspheming the Spirit? My interpretation of the unpardonable sin would be completely denying Christ. Do you agree?

Be blessed.

Hi Jennifer,
The Bible said that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven. If we attribute the power of the Holy Spirit to the devil, that sin shall not be forgiven. Rejecting Jesus Christ can also be considered that since He is the only way (John 14:6) and "Salvation is found in no else for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you and your family always.

Blasphemy againts the holy spirit.
example: eating what God's forbade you to eat. (remember what happened to Adam & Eve)
In the Christian times eating a blood of animals. (dito pa naman mahilig ang mga Pinoy, matakaw sa dinuguan.) But if you don't know the law of God on this matter baka excuse ka pa)
I don't think rejecting Jesus Christ is unpardonable sin.

I don't think there is an unpardonable sin. If God is really the forgiving and loving God that he is, how can he turn his back on any person, no matter how horrible the crime? Just because we as humans cannot find it in ourselves to forgive a person does not mean that God cannot. He loves us all no matter what.
