Hi Mel,

Honestly speaking, I do not believe in ghost or whatever scary myth. I haven't seen one, but I had a creepy experience that I can't believe until now. If I was alone that time I can say that it can't be true. Are you ready for this?

I was around 14 then. While I am taking care of my half-sister who is about 1 year old then, my stepmother together with her 3 more children arrived so we ate dinner together. When I was about to wash the dishes and not even finish cleaning the table, my father came with a pancit and told me to do the dishes before I can eat it.

But when I returned to the kitchen, all the plates and other utensils were clean and even on their proper places.

I am a fast worker, but it is very impossible to me to finish that in less than a minute, not even anyone. My stepsisters screamed and my stepmother prayed for a while.

As I said, I don't believe in magic and myths, but my father can only say that...it was my grandfather's death anniversary that day and he loves to to do the wishes when he was still alive.

Only my father remembered the date, anyway.

Creepy, but true.

Thanks.

Hi Angel,
I agree with you. It is indeed creepy. My hair stood on end while I was reading your post. And since you have witnesses to that event, it was indeed a tale worthy to be included in Ripley's Believe It or Not. Thanks for your visit and creepy narrative. I really appreciate your being candid and sharing with us your extraordinary experience. God bless you always.

My scariest time was when I was probably 10 years old. My mother was on the phone while I was ducking out of doing the dishes. (Interesting that both stories here so far are about dishes, don't you think?)

My father had recently installed some flood lights in the backyard. The pipe with the wires for that were underground except for one spot under the back porch. It was above ground for about a foot.

I wanted to hide so that my mother could finish the dishes and I would be out of the job. So, I went under the porch grabbing the pipe to get farther under. It was live, unknown to my dad. I could not release the pipe until I had held it for a while getting that charge from the wires. I was hollering as loudly as I could. This was almost like one of those dreams where you can't run fast enough. But this was reality.

Eventually, I was able to let go. Frankly, it scared me but not much else. It wasn't much of a charge really.

After that, I had nightmares for a while. I hated going to bed. After the nightmares stopped, I would close my eyes and see...eyes staring at me. It was much later in life that I realized that it was all spiritual. When I accepted Jesus, one of the things that came to mind was that time. I needed to forgive myself for ducking out like that. No idea why that would be such a big deal to me but it was.

Now I just thank God that He has taken things like that away. Awesome Lord!!! Thanks for this question. Very good one!

Hi Lura,
Amazing how things worked out for your good after your attempt to duck a household chore. What was simply amazing was how you were able to associate your resulting nightmares from your deliverance when you accepted the Lord. Shades of Romans 8:28, "All things work together for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to His purpose." God's ways are simply amazing. Thanks for sharing your extraordinary experiences and your eventual deliverance. God bless you always.

This probably isn't what you're looking for being the Halloween season and all, but my biggest fear is to lose my freedom. To be under a dictatorship and have my rights stripped from me - I can think of nothing worse.

Okay, now for something spooky...I remember going into an abandoned house when I was 10, pitch dark, no windows and completely trashed inside. We didn't go very far into the home, but far enough that it just about scared the party pants I was wearing right off of me!

Hi Bryan,
Yes, losing one's democratic rights and living under the heavy load of dictatorship is indeed scary. We have gone through that in The Philippines when Ferdinand Marcos declared martial law in 1972 and we just regained our true freedom in 1986 via the people power revolution.
Regarding your scary experience in a creepy old house, those are normal spooky experiences for a kid at your age then. Kids have a lot of scary things in their minds. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless.

I'd like to think I'm not scared of death . I'm not afraid to die because I know it's another life for me with God. But when you're in the "actual instant" that you think you're about to die is the scariest of all. I have been in 2 accidents twice where I thought I was gonna die and the experiences were really scary. The first accident happened in 1992 where my friend, the driver of the pick-up we're riding, careened into the side of the road, fell into a ravine and the pick-up turned -turtle twice, as the doors flew away and the windshield broke into shards. We were all alright but suffered wounds and bruises on different parts of our bodies. A shard of glass hit my forehead right above my eyebrow (I have a stitch there) , glass shards also on my right thigh and swollen muscles. Then the 2nd car accident which I related on my post.I also thought I was gonna die at that moment. The other scariest moment when we a thief came into our car and robbed us while he was threatening to kill my younger brother with a knife pointed at my brother's neck. My brother then was 4 years old hysterically wailing. That was also scary.
