when i was younger, i drove like a madman. i love speed. there were so many times i almost got myself in trouble. until now, my mom gets really worried when i drive.

one time, i was driving to my friend's house in binondo. i remember i was really angry then. i was playing the radio so loud and cut one of the cars in front of me. the owner of that car got really mad, drove faster than i did and cut me in one of the streets in binondo. he stopped his car and got down with a gun in his hand. my car wasn't heavily tinted so you can see who's inside. he pointed the gun on my window but when he saw the driver was a girl, he immediately turned his back and went back to his car and zoom! he's gone. maybe he thought i was a man because i drive like one.

did i get scared? believe it or not, i wasn't at all. after he left, i drove again as if nothing happened... i was still mad. i guess the reason i didn't get scared was because i was very angry too and i felt like nothing can scare me that time. nothing!

well, that was a thing of the past. i've changed. =D

It was only 4 years ago that I learned how to drive. I never drove in the Philippines. But it was more of a necessity to be able to drive in a suburbian town here in the US so I really was forced to drive. My scary experience was when I had an accident last winter 2007. It wasn't that terrible but I was so scared because my car was totally a wreck.

Wow that story about the road rage seems pretty scary. I hate road rage. I can drive but I haven't now for around two years... I'm starting to think I might forget!

Hi sis Pia,
That was a very fascinating anecdote of your driving habit in the past. I'm sure you were not yet born again then. He,he,he, You should have entered a car race like Michelle Bumgarmer who's a speed demon on the race tracks. I just could not imagine that you, so sweet and coy in picture, could be a speed demon yourself before. Ha,ha,ha, Remind me never to cross your path when you are driving.he,he,he, Wow, that was rich sister. I also was a very temperamental driver when I was still working at San Miguel Corporation. I used to race my service pickup then and i got into a lot of troubles too. Those were the carefree days, he,he,he. Thanks for sharing with us your driving experience before. God bless you always my dear sister and friend.

Hi Bingkee,
Yes, I read that anecdote of your past in one of your post. I'm glad you did not get into much trouble or
damage to yourself because of that incident. Thanks for sharing your driving experience with us. God bless you and your loved ones always my friend.

Hi MsPennylane,
I think you should continue your driving otherwise you might unlearn it. I can't think of anybody in Europe or America not knowing how to drive. You may need your driving skills especially in times of emergency. Thanks for your visit and your thoughts on the subject matter. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Whew! So I passed the driving test and I'm on my own now. I love the fun and freedom of being mobile at last. So, I had my first trip to the gasoline station. For God's sake, I was such a comic then. I wonder if the people at the Starbucks across the street are thinking I might be freaking weirdo. I kept pushing the circular thing trying to open the gas tank? Grrrrr, what the heck? for over 10 minutes, I can't figure it out! Holy smokes! duh?! So,I called my husband and there finally I opened it in just a second. That was so dumb of me, lols! Blaine is teasing me so much, he thought it's funny! I kept looking up above hoping there's no camera to catch me, wuahaha! Then, I started pushing the buttons and put the nozzle in, grrrrrrrrr...why it's not working? how could it be so hard? Then, the cashier of that gas station came out trying to help me out. He helped me, I was relieved. I kept apologizing since it's my first car, hahaha! Okay, I have to go coz my friend Dyane is waiting for me. But my steering wheel is locked?! Oh no! I can't move my car:( Gezzzz... then a guy whose looking at me trying to do something came to help me. Finally, am back on the road. Wow! what a blooper!!!That was 7 months ago then.

I LOVE driving. Climbing in a car and just riding around is pleasant for me. Most memorable experience? I wrecked my father's truck at the age of 10 (6 years below the legal driving age). It really scared me!

Have a great week Mel.

Currently, I am still practicing my driving. I just started this month on learning how to drive through a driving school since no one from the people I know are available to teach me.

What I couldn't forget from my experience so far is I hit the tires of a big truck... It was kinda scary since the tires are really centered on me, the thought of being crushed rushed through my mind. Good thing though that the truck was running really slow. This happened at a small curved 2-lane street... I guess my instructor was quite blank by that moment, he wasn't able to make a decision not to enter the lane...

and... when I finished my 20hr class at the driving school, my dad decided that he'll help me practice more with my driving... instead of having fun while learning, I had an awful experience. My dad and I had a fight. Dad was being too impatient. He didn't gave me a chance to be understood... So, we just went home while I was sobbing from all those harsh words he told me...

But despite those experiences, I am still willing on learning how to drive.

One of my driving experiences is that the first time I took the drivers test to get my license I flunked! I had to take it again a few months later in order to get my license.
