Of all the SEOs and friendship communities that sprouted all over blogsville, my favorite one is Blog Catalog. It operates very similarly like My Blog Log but only better and more efficient in more ways. It has a faster traveling time and has no limits on the number of communities or friends you can make each day. My Blog Log, on the other hand, limits membership to one's community to 15 per day. Its operating time is more tedious and longer. I could blog hop very fast with Blog Catalog, and together with Entrecard, both give me tremendous surge in traffic.
The number of my friends in my community at Blog Catalog has reached 450 and still growing. I could not possibly visit all of them everyday so I just limit myself to visiting all my recent viewers up to the time of the last 24 hours or 1 day. Then I try to visit the others by batches as my time would allow me.
That is also the better feature of Blog Catalog over My Blog Log. In my profile section, Blog Catalog shows the recent viewers to my blog with the corresponding time since they last visited. I use 24 hours or 1 day as my cut off time to visit those who recently visited me. With this feature, I can keep track of my loyal viewers and I always reciprocate their visits. Those who visit all my 4 blogs are rewarded by 4 visits from me no matter how many their blogs are.
I am planning to drop all my other SEOs and friendship communities in favor of Blog Catalog and Entrecard. This way, I can simplify and maximize my blog hopping activities.
