marami na akong nakitang eagles....pero never ko pa silang nahawakan...hehehhe...bawal kasi sa zoo....:) pero may ibang tao na nag aalaga talaga nang eagle/s....which is very rare.

Good to hear na marami nang Philippine Eagles ngayon KuyaM. Me too, I would love to see them. They are the second largest Eagles in the whole world. Marami na akong nakita Bald eagles like in your pictures here in Warren, PA. Marami na daw sila nest dito. That's the American pride, Bald Eagles.

Kuya Mel, I thought of checking out your reply today. Me and hubby have been watching videos of Birds coz that's his favorite subject. We saw a video about Eagles and found out that Philippine Eagle is the second largest eagle in the whole world. I find it hard to believe coz what I learned when I was in elementary that "Hari Ibon" is the largest Eagle in the whole world. I did research in the internet though. The Philippine Eagle and the Harpy has lots of arguements. But many confirmed that Philippine eagle is the heaviest eagle in the world and when it's comes to size, the Harpy has it. It's bluish in color and found in Southern part of America, I think. But I would go to Philippine Eagle coz many people said that it can carry heavy preys like monkeys. Peace Kuya Mel! ^_^
And Sir Mel, Bald Eagles are not big. I think the great blue heron is bigger than them. They're smaller, I've seen them around here.

Thanks for the information. I will also check the internet for that. Since my school days I have always heard that the Monkey Eating Eagle was the biggest eagle in the world.
