Death is my greatest fear. I don't want to lose anybody close to my heart I've been through so much losses (father, mother, nephew) and I can't bear to have more.
Kaya nga it comes to life ang kasabihang "kahit hirap basta lahat sama-sama" naku ok sa akin yung kahit hirap basta sama-sama basta walang mawala aprub ako dyan hehe.

Hi Kim,
Although we fear death, we must be prepared to accept it the moment it comes to any of us or our loved ones. Death maybe painful at first but if we realize that the one who passed away is now with the Lord, then our anxiety will be lessened. Wala namang nabuhay nang habang panahon. Although we put it at the farthest corner of our minds, we must accept it graciously when it comes. Thanks for your visit and comments. I really appreciate that. God bless you all always.

Preety interesting question Sir mel. I have lots of fears in life, sometimes I hide it by pretending to be happy and indenial minsan hehehe. But my greatest fear is lossing my loveones. I'd rather be the first to go. And if possible, I want them to stay with me forever. Thanks for sharing this post Sir Mel.

My greatest fear kuya Mel is seeing my kids grow up and follow the wrong way.. I am so scared that they would get involved in the wrong crowd and rebel against me and my husband.. And forget their christian roots..

Takot po talaga ako when the hormones would mess-up my kids on their teenage years and that they might think they're old enough to do whatever they want, even if it's not the right thing to do. I have been a teenager before and I would say, I thought I was at the top of the world then and I hated my grandma for telling me what I should do... Although now, I understood that it was all because of love.

I always tell Andrea though that I'm scared she would change when she becomes a teenager and she assured me that she won't.. Kaya tingnan na lng natin.. One thing for sure kuya Mel, if ever that time comes and I would have problems, you would be one of the people that I would go to and ask help from... hehehe

Salamat po sa bisita Kuya Mel...

Hi Shy,
We should banish all fears. Fear is brought about by lack of knowledge. If we know that we have a heavenly Father who wants nothing more than the very best for our lives, then all our fears will be gone. Surrender your loved ones to the Lord and He will take care of them in a way no earthly father can ever do. Thanks for your visit and honest comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Fifi,
Like Shy, you should not worry nor have any fears at all. Although I would say that the culture and way of life in America is very different from the Philippines, still a child molded by the love and caring of their parents especially their mother would not likely go astray. Just train your child to always confide in you no matter how trivial her problems maybe. Also, when they grow a little older make them active in a Christian church starting with the regular Sunday school. As the Bible says, "train a child in the way he should go and when he grows up, he shall not depart from it." Pinapag pray ko na lang sila at kini claim ko yung pangako ng Panginoon sa Acts 16:11, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household." Iniiyak ko sila sa Panginoon. Kung baga I lead by example at not by words. Salamat sa bisita at meaningful comments. God bless you all always.

I always fear about my kids safety whenever we go somewhere that is crowded especially EJ who love to play hide and seek all the time. I thought for sure that EJ was with hubby when I got done ordering, I asked where EJ was and he said that he went to see me. I freaked out as in.. It turned out that EJ went to the second floor alone where there is a play area.

Hi Rose,
Thanks for the visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Mel
My biggest fear in life is homelessness. I share the rent with my mother, and if she passes away, my landlord said he would kick me out. I live on disability income that is not enough to rent an apartment. I don't have any friends in this city. I just got my hope of a husband taken away from me, so homelessness looks much closer now, but I won't worry about it because there's no use worrying about something that might never happen. I can just save my money to prepare for the future and pray that the Lord will help me if my Mom ever passes away. He has the answers. I can't lean on my own understanding because I don't have the answers, but God does. It's interesting to see what other people's fears are. Good question.

Hi Shiela,
That is the very reason why the Lord gave us the promise of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths" and Psalm 23:4, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for You are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me." If we look at the situation in the horizon and we analyze it based on our knowledge and experiences in life, we will surely melt in fear because our case will seem hopeless. But if we focus on the undying promises of the Lord, then we reverse the physical reality of the situation to make it conform to the spiritual reality of God's promises. I know because I am living on that. Thanks for your visit and comments. Merry Christmas and God bless you always.

I totally agree with Kathy KuyaMel...that's one of my greatest fear....iba kasi yung morals dito sa US....very liberated.

One of my greatest fear also is death....just like shydub....I would rather go first...kaya I always pray to God to keep us away from danger and hope that he will always take care of my family.

salamat din sa comments....about sa photo...that was actually taken a couple of weeks ago...we don't have snow in Sacramento....it only gets cold here but we never have a snow....the elevation is not that bad compare to other states....which is very good....i hate snow....ehhehehe...if we want to see snow, we need to drive up to the mountains...about 3 hours at least.

California is very sunny.....until ngayon kahit fall...clear parin yung sky...may araw pero it gets super cold at night.

how about jan sa pinas? how's the weather?

maligayang pasko po pala....:)

Hi Dhemz,
Death comes to everyone. We should not fear it. What we should do is prepare ourselves and our loved ones spiritually so that the fear of death will be banished. Merry Christmas to you all. God bless you all always.

I really have nothing to fear ...honestly. There's really nothing I can do with fear because most of the time when I'm scared, it just breaks me. So whenever fear sets in, I pray to God's Holy Spirit for His strength and comfort to indwell in me.

Hi Bingkee,
Yes, that's the right thing to do to overcome fear. Thanks for your visit and comments. Merry Christmas to you all. God bless you all always.
