A brother. I love my sister so much but if to choose one, I want her to be my brother. I am fortunate I have 3 brothers and a sister.
Brothers complement a sister. A brother can punch or kick an attacker ,ready to defend me in such situations where physical strength is a must to survive. I can also get a glimpse of what men really like and dislike with my brother. I used to hang out with my brothers and their friends and I have learned that they also do gossip. Hehehe! I thought only women gossip.
They also protect you from other men.
My sister is great....I can borrow clothes from her. Or let her act as me or I can tell who my crushes are. She can relate to my emotions as a woman.
Having 3 brothers all around me is also great. Imagine 3 big men ready to kick any man's asses off.

Hi Bingkee,
You seemed to have a very pleasant experiences with your brothers. Yes big brothers are instant bodyguards who will protect you through thick and thin. Sisters are also great to have as your best friend and confidante. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

You know, I HAVE a brother but there are 14 years between our age. We don't have a close relationship and I blame the age gap. I've always thought I would like to have a sister that I was CLOSE to - but a built in rival might be tough.

Gender is less of an issue than the nature of the relationship. If you don't get along with a sibling it's not fun whether they are a brother or a sister.

Hi Jen,
Yes it does not matter whether it's a boy or a girl so long as siblings love each other. Sibling rivalry is something so prevalent because it involves competition for attention from parents. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

being the oldest of 5 consecutive girls and 3 boys in a row... I always wanted to have a big brother, growing up^-^ but it doesn't matter anymore...I had gained a lot of close, boy friends since then:))

Hello Mel,as always, your quality blog will have numerous readers.

The gift of life is itself a blessing and I would not choose which form of life should be my sibling. Rather, I would be very glad that God has gifted me with my own flesh and blood.

I love all my siblings and I honor each of them.

Thanks for this post. :-)

When I was a kid, I always wanted an older brother who could teach me things and be my protector. As it turned out, I got a younger brother and two sisters instead which turned out okay.

Hi Shawie,
Since you already have a lot of brothers and sisters it does not matter anymore about your sex preference for a sibling. God have blessed you with both sexes for your siblings. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
