there are real good cops. unfortunately, it's hard to tell who's who. personally, i don't trust them. sorry... their image (to me) had been so tainted. i know it's unfair to those who serve with all honesty. boy, this is a tough question...

I think most Filipinos feel the same way as you do. Unfortunately, the reputation of policemen in the Philippines is such that nobody seems to trust them anymore. You can never tell the honest from the rotten ones. It seems that even the higher ups are in cahoots with criminal elements. Thanks for your visit and honest comments. God bless you always.
Only somewhat, especially after just finishing reading "Innocent Man" by John Grisham which is a true story of four men being wrongfully convicted of murder thanks to the cops.
