I know sometimes it's a case to case basis because some comatose patient still survive after years from being coma. I've seen one from the news; he was 18 years old when he got comatose because of a motorcycle accident. After 2 years being in a coma the family decided to remove his life support but when the doctor starts doing it he suddenly move his fingers. Then the doctor revived him and now he’s doing great.
