Decisions, Decisions!

This is just a make believe situation. Supposed that a terrorist bombed a crowded shopping mall and it just so happened that your loved one was one of the fatalities there. The terrorist was gunned down by the police. He was rushed to the hospital and it so happened that the hospital found out that his blood type was so rare that you are the only one who can donate your own blood to be able to save his life. Would you donate your own blood to save the life of the person who was responsible for the untimely death of your loved one? Please explain your answer.

yes ofcourse i would save him... If he's bad.. i wont be... anyway death is a kind of excuse..i would like him to stay alive and face the consequences of his actions... then he will repent... and that will be the biggewst pusinhment ..than just letting him die

Hi Samby,
My, that's a very wonderful point of view. Others would probably see it the other way and think only of their own grieving self for the loss of their loved one and would not want to extend the life of the very person who killed their loved one. Thanks for the very idealistic point of view. God bless.

Hi Mel, if someone has done something to one who I love from the bottom of my Heart, I'de never forgive him and I'd let him die.

It's bad to say this, but anyone who harms me or the ones I love must be prepare to face my wrath, anger, rage. And I won't stop until my revenge is done.

So I'd not only let him die, I'd also make his last minutes misserable.

Sorry for the roughness of my comment, but since I have a bad, and I love so much the ones who I love (and I love myself too); I'm also too vengeful.

Big greetings and big hugs

Sweet Dreams, from the bottom of my Heart:
Arthur

Hi Mel, you know, I wouldn't save his life too.

I'd think, the punish for him is to carry this pain inside his conscience, but I also have a little bit of anger, and since this situation, the anger would be stronger than me and I'd let him die.

It won't bring back to life the person I lost, but it will make me feel better.

Greetings and hugs

Nice Day, with my whole soul:
Gusthav

Hi Noushy,
I understand your point of view my dear beautiful friend. Probably, if I lost a loved one to a terrorist and I'm requested by the hospital to donate my blood to save his life, I might have second thoughts too. The pain of loss would still be there and I might surmise that he deserves each and every bullet that riddled his body. I do not know. I hope it will not happen to me. Perish the thought. Thanks for your valuable point of view my dear beautiful friend. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Arthur,
I could not help but laugh while I was reading your comment. My laughter grew louder when I glanced at your caricature with the angry face. I would hate to be in the shoes of that terrorist if ever you find him at the hospital. Not only will refuse to donate your blood, you are liable to unplug all the support systems attached to his body. He, he, he *lol* Beware the avenging hand of Arthur- the terrorist buster. He, he, he, *lol*
Well, thanks for your honest point of view. God bless you and your loved ones always my young friend.

Hi Gusthav,
At least you are not that angry as Arthur. Well, thanks for your point of view too. I can't blame you all for feeling that way. I just hope we don't encounter that kind of situation in our lives. That would be extremely painful. Thanks for your visit and point of view my young friend. God bless you and your family always.

hi mel, you are giving me major headache. :P

there's always two sides of the coin. if i speak about anger and hatred, i would definitely not donate my blood, and would even wish he came dead in the hospital. but, when asked what's the right thing to do, i would have to donate my blood despite the rage in me.

it's really hard. hmmm...

Hahhaha MEL..what you said is true..I won't donate my blood in this situation simply because I think helping this terrorist is NOT WORTH it...after what he has done-assumingly many were dead at the Mall, losing him is nothing.

I'm not cruel but I'm just being honest and realistic...:)

Hi Mel,
I would not save him. That would kill me to lose a loved one. Why should he get to live, if he killed someone else? They don't even have to be my family. I feel for people that I don't even know. Innocent people get killed & I don't believe we should have to pay to feed him in jail. Most people claim to be insane, to get off the hook. I don't think there all crazy. Some people might just be mean. Just my opinion. Have a great Sunday! :-) Robin

Hi Caca,
Welcome to my blog. That's okay. I will not press you for a definite stand point. It's really hard to guess what we might do if we are in that situation. Of course, we are still under the pain of an untimely loss because of the barbaric act of that terrorist. Would donating our own blood to save his own life worth it? What if he live and return to his old ways and kill other innocent victims in the future? Would that not give us a tinge of regret in our heart? Thanks for your visit and God bless.

Hi Noushy,
Yes, I understand your point of view. Nobody says that you are in the wrong for there are no right and wrong answers here. It is just that you state your own point of view and elucidate your stand. Thanks for reiterating your stand on this issue my dear beautiful friend. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Will it be humane to donate blood to him??? It has set me to think. May be yes, from the humanity point of view; may be no because his living will create more killing of the innocents.

Jesus gave His blood for me and I am as unworthy as the terrorist. I would but God would have to help me deal with all of the emotions involved.

Be blessed.

Hi Sangeeta,
Yes, it is really hard to decide on that because whatever decision one makes will have a bearing on future events. Thanks for your enlightened point of view. God bless.

Hi Jennifer,
I see your Christian point of view here. Jesus would have saved him even if he tried killing the Lord. Thanks for such wonderful point of view. God bless you and your family always my friend.
